    Highlights

    1. Hydraulic blade Tensioner

    The hydralic system ensures constant tension during the cutting process. There is an indicator showing the tension pressure that its value should be suitable for the blades width. The adequate pressure is the minimum pressure that can ensure the cut quality. It depends on the blade types and conditions (sharp or dull), logs types and hardness etc. High tension pressure may cause cracks on or even breakdown of blades.

    2. Blade Wheels

    The blade wheels are made of carbon steel that can work very well on wear condition due to metal-to-metal contact in comparision of cast iron. In addition, the cracks or even breakdown usually occur in cast iron wheels when they are working in over stress conditions that can cause accidents to happen. The wheels section profile is an arc in stead of flat and chamfer at both sides as the original ones that can help them to work longer and more stably. To improve the useful life of machine and wheel bearings in special, the wheels should be balanced by uing a dynamic balancing system before assembling, moreover, the distance between two bearings are also extended more to reduce the momentum acting on them when operating.

    3. Blade Guide system

    Blade guide system can reduce vibration and ensures proper support of the blade while cutting. Under supporting from this system, the blades can be well aligned and work effectively without high tensioning force. The distance between two guides can be moved easily to fit with the logs size.

    4. V-Belt Tensioning System

    This system is really useful when the machine is operating in the single-phase power or low three-phase power. In these electric systems, the wheel driving motors that are carrying the high load cannot be started or consum very high power to be started. Hence, this system is able to enable the motors to be started easily without anyload when the driving V-belts are released. The V-belts are slowly tensioned to drive the wheels when the motors reach full speed.

    5. Cut Angle

    The cut angle is a factor that affects considerably to the cut quality. The blade is set a small inclined angle with perpendicular plan with log axis, it can significantly reduce the vibration when cutting, especially when the blade is just reaching to the log face.

    6. Control panel

    The control system is optimized to work more effectively in all cutting conditions of log sizes and hardness. The feed motors are controlled smoothly in low or high speed that can ensure sufficient power for very slowly cutting hard and large log or fast moving back when completing cutting. The Up/Down movement is excellently controlled using PID theory. The control interface is designed to be simple and suitable for all users. They don't need to spend much time learing how to use it.
